Terms and conditions

1. Conclusion of contract

You can order from us via our website or via email, but in any case the order must be made in writing. Our offers on our website are non-binding. By ordering the desired goods, you are making a binding offer to purchase the product in question. We will send you an order confirmation immediately after receiving this offer.

2. Prices

All prices quoted are in Euros and include the statutory Austrian VAT of 20%. Packaging and shipping costs are added in accordance with section 3.

3. Packaging and shipping costs (domestic/international)

Postage and shipping will be calculated based on the delivery address and will be announced in our order confirmation. You will also find here an overview of the packaging and shipping costs to be charged.

4. Terms of payment

Together with our order confirmation, you will receive an invoice for the value of the goods including the VAT rate applicable in Austria (currently 20%), plus packaging and shipping costs. The goods will be dispatched no later than the 5th working day after we have received your payment in full on our account no. 81,000, bank code 35035 (IBAN AT 72 3503 5000 0008 1000, BIC RVSAAT2S035). We do not accept any self-calculated or non-agreed deductions from the invoice amount.

5th delivery

We dispatch our goods no later than the 5th working day (the day on which we hand over the goods to the shipping company is decisive) after the day on which we receive the full purchase price including VAT and shipping costs, if delivery against advance payment has been agreed.
We generally assume that delivery of goods to addresses within Austria takes approximately 1 to 3 working days. For shipments outside Austria and within Europe, in our experience, delivery usually takes 10 - 14 working days. For shipments outside of Europe, the delivery time depends on the shipping method (airmail/land/shipping) and the recipient's location.
If, in exceptional circumstances, an item cannot be delivered or cannot be delivered quickly, we will inform you of the delivery date as soon as possible, or alternatively that the delivery cannot be made. We reserve the right to make a partial delivery if this appears to be advantageous for a quick processing and is reasonable for you. If a partial delivery is made, we will of course cover the additional shipping costs. This will not incur any additional costs for you. If we are unable to deliver the goods you have ordered through no fault of our own, we expressly reserve the right to withdraw from the contract.

6. Warranty

The warranty is based on the statutory provisions. In the event of a complaint, we ask you to provide proof of the date of purchase by means of an invoice and to send the item in question together with a copy of the invoice to: Stillsegler – VELA Handels GmbH & Co KG, Hofgraben 1, 4801 Traunkirchen
Normal wear and tear of the goods does not constitute a warranty claim. Nor does a minor deviation in the shape, colour or size of the product shown on the website product shown, as Stillsegler products are almost exclusively handmade products.

7. Care

Please always note our care instructions for the individual materials, that you here We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect care or cleaning.

8. Retention of title

All delivered goods remain our property until full payment has been made.

9. Right of withdrawal

You can return all items purchased in the Stillsegler online shop within two weeks without giving any reason - only unused and in our original packaging (cut goods and all special and custom-made items are understandably excluded from this).

The cancellation period shall be fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier designated by you takes possession of the goods. To exercise your right of cancellation, you must notify us (Vela Handels GmbH & Co KG | Hofgraben1 | 4801 Traunkirchen | Tel. +43 7617-31351 | info@stillsegler.com) by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can use the attached sample withdrawal form for this purpose, but this is not mandatory. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

consequences of revocation

If you cancel this contract, we will refund all payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choosing a different type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), promptly and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your cancellation of this contract. For this refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless something else was expressly agreed with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this refund. We may refuse to refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.


You must return or hand over the goods to us promptly and in any event no later than fourteen days from the date on which you notify us that you have cancelled this contract. This deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You only have to pay for any loss of value of the goods if this loss of value is due to handling of the goods which is not necessary to check their quality, properties and functioning.

In the event of a wrong delivery on our part, we will cover the cost of returning the item. We will immediately refund any credit resulting from the return, unless you wish to use it for another order. Obligations to refund payments must be fulfilled within 10 days and will only be made in return for the return of the goods received by the customer. For us, the period begins upon receipt of the returned goods.

10. Final provision

Should any provision of these General Terms and Conditions be invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
