Hike with "multiple lake views" - If you want to enjoy wonderful views of the impressive Salzkammergut lakes Attersee and Mondsee, then the family-friendly ascent to the Eisenauer Alm, which takes around 2 hours, is recommended. The well-laid-out forest path offers several beautiful vantage points. Once you reach the top, the view of the north face of the Schafberg is also very impressive. The huts on the Alm are open and a relaxing rest is guaranteed.

The start is in Oberburgau near the Au-See fire station on the southern shore of Lake Mondsee, where the Attersee and Mondsee almost meet. Due to the limited parking spaces, we recommend coming from Unterach by bike. The path to Schoberstein also starts nearby, with a fantastic view over Lake Attersee. There are several options for the ascent, depending on your mood.

They offer fresh fish from Lake Attersee every day, unadulterated natural products from a lake with drinking water quality. Depending on the season and the catch, there are whitefish, Arctic char, pike or whitefish. The fish smoked in the wood oven (to take away) are a delicacy.
